After trying their cod croquettes last week at another restaurant, we just had to go to the source and experience more of their delicious creations. We decided to indulge in some burgers that sounded divine—and they were even better than we imagined. The Ham-Burger featured a crispy ham croquette on brioche bread topped with tomatoes, piparras, lettuce, and slices of ham. We can't describe how incredible and satisfying this was! The second burger we tried was an onion soup croquette, with mustard and pickles, which left such a lasting impression that I'll be dreaming of it for a while They also serve an in-house fermented lemonade that was so refreshing; we absolutely loved it. We appreciated that they insist on using all organic produce, nothing processed, and you can truly taste the quality.

Canada’s first croqueteria! It is THE place in Montreal to try traditional (and not so traditional flavours) Spanish croquetas. They are little nuggets of deep fried bechamel. Crispy outside, warm and creamy center, it’s a wonderful finger food to try. The service is A1, the owner is so passionate and loved to share the story behind his restaurant. A must try!

This little thing is easy to eat one after another while chatting, and non stop with the owner ‘s special lemonade. When you come to your senses, you have already eaten a huge amount of calories. The store offers different flavors every day, depending on whether you are lucky. I prefer Spanish ham filling and garlic shrimp filling. The minimum order is six. The safe way is to order different flavors and try them all. Then, I packed a dozen and took them home. I will cook them in the air fryer and eat again.

We stumbled upon this place on our Montreal trip, and so glad we did! The Spanish croquettes are so delightful! Very crispy, not oily, delicious filling. You can buy them by half a dozen, and we tried 3 different flavors, one with ham, aged cheddar and piquillos. My personal favorite was the one with piquillos, these peppers are imported from Spain. We also tried the fermented “lemon-aid”, and it was fantastic and so unique. They sell it by a bottle, and you can return the bottle and get a small refund. The owner is passionate about sustainability, all the boxes/containers are recyclable. He was super friendly, and you can tell he puts his heart and soul to his creations. If you are in Montreal, highly recommend checking this place out. They also have a stand at the Jean Talon Market. There is a small patio outside where you can sit. They only accept cash or Canadian debit.

Super croquetas! Better than the many I had in Spain. Fresh, flavourful, and addicting!! I went twice in less than 24 hours. creative flavours, and wow the ginger kombucha! The best I've had. In short, don't think twice. And don't say I'll have two or three. Get six you won't regret it

I love potatoes. Croquette is certainly no exception. I found La Croqueteria by accident and was intrigued by the unique varieties it hs offered. So i was determined to visit the place for afternoon snack trying out all croquette flavours (didnt expect the shop is fr take away only). The chef was v. welcoming and explained all the variants in English (as i dont speak French). Creme brulee, margarita, garlic, cheddar and ham. The creme brulee croquette is unique and nostalgic. The first bite sent my tastebuds dancing. It hs hint of citrus w/ buttery flavour which reminds me of my childhood 1980s SEA's square cookies. Totally love it! The cheddar is similar to Indonesian version (originated frm Dutch) of Bitterbolen and ragout 'kroket'. Simply love the melt in the mouth type of dessert. I'm bringing back dozens to Jakarta for my mom to try. 28 hours travel distance...no problem. Hv experience in packing fresh food for long distance travel.

Eating is so much about both of food and the experience. You get both at La Croquetería de Montreal. I stopped at the Marché Jean Talon booth, and ordered a small paella and one of each croqueta. It was so good and filling, and the owner was happy to let me order in Spanish (I'm learning and it was my first time speaking it with a native person!). The croquetas were so creamy inside yet crispy and golden outside. The paella had large shrimps and the portion was very generous. Lovely
